Copper Bloom at Kew Gardens

Copper Bloom

Copper Bloom has appeared at the prestigious Sculpt at Kew exhibition at the world famous Kew Gardens..

Inspired by the striking vision of a magnolia tree in full bloom, this magnificent sculpture takes building and engineering to a new creative level in creating a tree structure using varying widths and lengths of copper pipe, soldered with copper plumbing fittings. Each branch holds a number of delicately crafted bone china blossoms in three stages of bloom, from bud to full bloom, with the larger blooms being illuminated.
